What are the ABC-CALL rates?

As you might guess, rates vary depending on country and region but here's the great news: You can always check the current rate for the number you're calling by using the cellphone calculator located to the right on our website. Don't forget: each call is billed in full minute increments, so if your conversation is 45 seconds, you'll be billed for one minute.

How does ABC-CALL work?

ABC-CALL is the prepaid international phone card that works from any phone. You can open an account with as little as $25. As you make calls, charges are deducted from your account balance. With each call you place, you will hear your remaining balance. You may add funds to your account at any time or enable the Auto Recharge option so you never have to worry about running out of call time.

To make calls, you simply dial a toll-free 800 number, your ABC-CALL Account Number and PIN, and the phone number you want to dial. With ZEROPin Dialing, calling is faster without the need to enter your account number with every call.

You may use a credit card (Visa, American Express, or MasterCard) or debit card (Visa- or MasterCard-branded) to make your purchase. Click here to sign up.

Are there any additional charges?

There are no hidden charges. You'll be charged a per minute rate along with a connection fee. You MAY have additional charges from your cellphone company; please confirm by calling your them directly.

When will my bill arrive?

Because your account is prepaid, ABC-CALL does not issue printed, mailed invoices.

Does the ABC-CALL account or card have an expiration date?

Nope! As long as your account remains in good standing, you're good to make calls. If you ever need to refill your account balance, just visit the website or call us at 877-316-0222.

Can I make ABC-CALL calls immediately?

Of course!
While you'll receive a card in the mail in about 7 days, you WILL have instant access to make calls after setting up an account and making a deposit using a valid credit card or PayPal. To be clear, you might experience a slight delay to obtain full account credit while your payment is approved.

Can I use my ABC-CALL calling card from any phone?

Yes, whether you're calling from a home phone, hotel, cell phone, or pay phone, ABC-CALL's toll-free dial-in number is always available.

Can I make calls from my ABC-CALL account using my cell phone?

Yes, of course. Please remember, though, that air time charges from your cellular provider MAY apply. Please contact your cellular provider for more details.

Are per minute rates higher if I call TO a cell phone?

Depending on where you call, a call TO a cell phone may carry a higher rate per minute as overall connection fees tend to be higher. These rates are reflected in our rate calculator so you'll know what you're paying before you make the call.

How do I make a call from my cell phone with ABC-CALL?

Easy. Use the same procedure as a regular phone but please be certain to verify air rates from your cellular carrier first.

How do I make a call from my home phone with ABC-CALL?

To make a call with ABC-CALL from your phone, simply:

1. Dial ABC-CALL from anywhere in the U.S or Canada and wait for a greeting or tone.


2. If you do not have our ZEROPin Dialing Service on your account, when prompted enter your ABC-CALL account number and PIN.


3. For calls to USA and Canada, dial 1 + area code + the number you wish to call, when prompted. For other countries, you'll need to dial 011 + the country code + the city code + the local number.

Does the country I am calling have more than one possible rate? Why?

Probably. Different regions or cities have greater capacity than others. These rates vary so we provide the best possible per minute cost to the actual number and area you're calling.

I do not see the region I am calling listed on the Rates page. What will I be charged per minute?

Easy. Just use our rate calculator and punch in the exact phone number you're calling; it'll give you the most up-to-date rate information we have one file for that city or region.

Can I make several calls without hanging up my phone?

To make multiple calls, do not hang up the phone after your first call. After the person you called hangs up, just press the # key, wait for the prompt, and then dial the number you wish to call. It's that easy!

Is there a local access number?

No, only the toll-free number.

Is there a Spanish-specific language access number?

No, but Spanish-specific menu choices are available via our regular 800 number.

Are there additional charges incurred by a cell phone receiving my call internationally?

That depends on the carrier of the end cellular service; please have the person who will be receiving the call check with their carrier.

Do you have a list of country codes?

If you need to know a country code, please check our list of international dialing codes.

Can I use my ABC-CALL account to call from outside the USA?

Sure. Higher connection fees or per minute rates apply, but your ABC-CALL service will work in exactly the same way. Be sure to check with your hotel or accommodation regarding USA toll-free numbers as some hotels will NOT consider it a toll-free call.

Can I use my ABC-CALL account to make calls from Europe?

What is an international access number?

Will the person I call be able to see my Caller ID?

Yes, unless you've turned on the block feature on your phone.

Can I change my ABC-CALL account number?

Sorry, no. Your account number is your unique identifier and needs to remain the same so we can continue to supply the convenience of great services like ZEROPin Dialing and ABCDirect Dial.

How do I retrieve my ABC-CALL PIN or Account Information?

If I have enabled Auto Recharge, will my minutes recharge during a call?

No. Auto Recharge is set to occur 4 times a day, as necessary, at 12:00 AM, 6:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 6:00 PM EST.

How do I determine the account number associated with a phone number that I have registered for ZEROPin Dialing?

Can I use a ABCDirectDial number from any phone?

ABCDirectDial numbers only work from pre-set numbers.

Are ABCDirectDial phone numbers also toll-free?

Not at all; they work differently. When you use ABCDirectDial, you'll have the convenience of a dedicated number but still pay our low, per-minute rates.

Can I use ABCDirectDials to call from outside the U.S.?

ABCDirectDial is exclusively for use within the USA.
